Senior Project Engineer – Renewables | Regional NSW | Rostered | Contract | Strong Hourly Rate + Super + Accommodation & Meals

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join a major EPC delivering a large-scale solar/BESS project in regional NSW.
This is a site-based role working for the EPC/main contractor, with responsibility for overseeing civil and mechanical works across the project.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate civil and mechanical construction activities across site.
Provide technical engineering support to site teams and subcontractors.
Manage subcontractor performance, construction methodology and work fronts.
Review drawings, specifications, ITPs and technical documentation.
Coordinate RFIs, technical queries and design changes.
Monitor progress against programme and assist with project planning.
Conduct inspections and ensure works meet project specifications and quality requirements.
Work closely with HSE and quality teams to ensure construction activities are delivered safely and compliantly.




Support resolution of technical and construction issues.

About You
Degree qualified in Civil, Mechanical or related Engineering discipline.
Previous experience as a Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer on major construction projects.
Solid experience across civil and/or mechanical construction works.
Solar, BESS or broader renewable energy experience highly preferred.
Experience working for an EPC/main contractor highly regarded.
Strong understanding of construction methodology, engineering documentation and project delivery.
Proven experience managing subcontractors and working within large project teams.
Comfortable working on a remote, rostered project.
