The role
As a Disability Support Worker, you'll work alongside participants to help them achieve their goals. Day to day, this may include:
Supporting personal care, daily living and household tasks
Assisting with community access, social activities and employment goals
Supporting personal care, manual handling, medication prompts and health routines
Building positive, respectful relationships with participants and their families
Documenting shift notes and following each participant's support plan
What we offer
Competitive pay rates from $35 – 46 per hour plus penalty rates and super

About you
1 years' experience in disability support, aged care or community services
Confident supporting participants with personal care and manual handling
Strong documentation, reporting and incident-management skills
Ability to work independently and mentor newer team members

Essential requirements
A current Australian driver’s licence (minimum P2)
A Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain them
Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain.

Availability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts across a 7-day roster
