GetCareers is currently recruiting for enthusiastic individuals who are eager to undertake a Plumbing Apprenticeship with an established and reputable local business. This opportunity is particularly well-suited to a school leaver wanting to start a hands-on career in the plumbing industry, where you can earn while you learn and gain a nationally recognised qualification upon completion.

Location: Work will vary across both North and South of the river
Employment Type: Full-time (5 days per week, 38 hours standard)
Term of Apprenticeship: 4 years

About the Role
As a Plumbing Apprentice, duties may include:
Assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of water supply, drainage, and sanitary plumbing systems
Supporting the installation and servicing of gas appliances, piping, and fittings
Measuring, cutting, bending, and joining pipes using appropriate tools and materials
Reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and job specifications
Locating and repairing leaks, blockages, and faults in plumbing and gas systems
Preparing, cleaning, and maintaining work areas, tools, and equipment
Following workplace health and safety procedures
Assisting qualified plumbers and gasfitters in office as required

Physically capable of performing hands-on work




Demonstrate robust attention to detail and a solid work ethic
Reliable, punctual, and motivated to develop new skills through an apprenticeship
Able to work effectively in a team and follow instructions
Committed to completing the full term of the apprenticeship while working full-time

Eligibility Criteria
Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Must reside in the Perth Metropolitan Area due to job location
Must have a Valid Driver's Licence
Must have a Valid Construction White Card
