PR Power Pty Ltd is an Australian company specialising in Power Generation, Mobile Lighting and related solutions, with its head office in Wangara and branches in Victoria and Queensland.

We are seeking an Accountant to join our Wangara Finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this hands-on role covers a broad range of accounting, compliance and reporting responsibilities.

About the Role:

Duties will primarily include:

· Month-end close, including journals, reconciliations and management reporting

· Maintain general ledger and ERP integrity, investigating and resolving discrepancies

· Prepare and process daily capital sales invoicing

· Prepare and reconcile intercompany accounts, liaising with our parent company in Italy

· Manage group reporting requirements to the overseas parent company

· Manage foreign currency transactions, including supplier invoices, payments and associated FX reconciliations

· Prepare cash flow forecasts and assist with daily cash management

· Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax and FBT returns, with backup support to payroll

· Support annual budgeting, forecasting and audit processes





· Drive finance process improvements and provide financial support to management

· Other finance and administrative duties as required

Skills & Experience:

The successful candidate will ideally have:

· Proven experience in a similar accounting role

· Tertiary qualifications in accounting or equivalent

· Confident working with a mid-size ERP system and able to troubleshoot and correct system issues as needed (MYOB Exo preferred but not essential)

· Robust analytical skills with high attention to detail.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a team

· Able to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and work independently.

· Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and communicate effectively across a small team
