About the role

As BDM, you'll be the face of The Grout Guy in the marketplace — identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with property managers, real estate agents, builders, strata companies, and commercial clients, and turning leads into long-term partnerships. You'll work closely with our operations team to ensure the sales pipeline translates into happy, repeat customers.

Key responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and strata markets
Build and maintain relationships with real estate agencies, property managers, builders, and facility managers
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to hit growth targets
Represent The Grout Guy at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
Prepare quotes, proposals, and tender responses
Track leads, pipeline, and conversion using CRM tools
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth handover from sale to service delivery
Report on sales performance and market trends to leadership

About you
Proven experience in a BDM, sales,



or account management role (trades, construction, or property services experience highly regarded)
Robust relationship-building and negotiation skills
Self-motivated with a hunter mentality — you love chasing current business
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Comfortable using CRM software and basic reporting tools
A current VIC driver's licence
Local VIC market knowledge is a big plus
