Supported Independent Living (SIL)

We are currently seeking Disability Support Workers for casual opportunities across our group-based day program and group home settings in the South-East suburbs.
Shifts available Monday to Friday, 8:00am–3:00pm. Sleepover shifts also available.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, person-centred support in line with each participant’s individual needs, goals, and program requirements
Promote independence, personal growth, and skill development through active support
Assist participants to build confidence and engage meaningfully within their community
Implement structured programs and identify prospects for learning and development
Support participants to develop social connections and increase community participation
Follow Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) and organisational procedures
Complete accurate documentation, including shift notes and incident reports
Skills & Experience
Certificate III or IV in Disability (or equivalent qualification)
Current First Aid (Level 2) and CPR certificate
Current unrestricted driver’s licence
Demonstrated commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs, strengths, and goals of people with disabilities
Ability to build positive relationships with participants and support them in achieving their chosen outcomes
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required for these roles
Successful candidates will be required to complete all relevant compliance checks, including a National Criminal History Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, and, where applicable, an International Criminal History Check (for those who have lived outside Australia for 12 months or more in the past 10 years).
