The role:

The Print Production Assistant will have an overall basic understanding of all aspects of the production side of the business from receipting stock to dispatching completed customer orders and all the production processes in between.

In the role you will learn from, support and assist the Production Manager, ensuring that Garment Decoration and Printing activities in our production facility are in line with our customers expectations and the Kustomize it operational requirements.

This is a hands on role where you will set up, adjust, run and off-load print and embroidery jobs using a wide variety of equipment.

Your typical week will involve:
Setting up, adjusting and operating the machines for print/embroidery.
Counting and checking-in garments so they are ready to print/embroider.
Preparing stock for production.
Cleaning and preparing machines for production.
Operating embroidery, printing and heat-press equipment.
Loading and unloading garments in production, inspecting product and print quality for defects.
Identifying quality variations and attention to detail of all final printed work.




Reviewing and editing Artwork for production.
Participating in Production and Safety meetings.
Maintaining consumables stock levels, completing stock takes as scheduled.
Undertaking regular housekeeping and routine maintenance cleaning, maintaining and storing of tools and production equipment.
Storing and packing of goods and materials in accordance with appropriate procedures.
Basic troubleshooting of printing issues, and escalating issues as required.

This role will require you to be versatile in your approach to work, be highly organised to manage multiple projects at the one time, with a solid attention to detail.

Pay: $29.00 – $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 38.0 per week
