BLACKBOARD CAFE - Located in Varsity Lakes is looking for an allrounder for 3 weekdays and a Saturday shift. Experience is necessary. Between 25 -35 hours per week.

Front-of-House Duties
Customer Service: Greeting guests, taking takeaway orders, and explaining menu items or specials.
Cashier & POS: Operating the cash register, processing EFTPOS payments, and balancing the till at shift close.
Floor Care: Clearing and wiping down tables and keeping the customer area tidy.

Beverage & Food Preparation
Barista Tasks: Making coffees, teas, and cold drinks using commercial cafe equipment.
Light Kitchen Prep: Making easy menu items, toasting sandwiches, or restocking front display fridges.

Front-of-House & Cleaning
Dishwashing: Washing plates, cutlery, and cooking utensils,



then returning them to service areas.
Stock Control: Restocking dry goods, cups, lids, and milk fridges.
Hygiene Compliance: Following strict food safety and personal cleanliness rules.

Key Skills & Requirements
Friendly Attitude: Robust communication skills and a welcoming, helpful personality.
Multitasking: Ability to stay calm and work fast during busy morning rushes.
Certificates: Basic food safety training or barista experience required

Pay: $33.00 – $38.00 per hour
