We are seeking a motivated and reliable Trades Assistant to support our operations and maintenance team. This is a hands-on role that requires a solid work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key responsibilities
Assist with King Vac and vacuum excavation operations.
Support operators during industrial cleaning and waste removal activities.
Set up and pack down equipment and work areas.
Assist with hose handling, spotter duties, and traffic management where required.
Perform general labouring and housekeeping tasks.
Complete pre-start checks and follow site safety procedures.
Work collaboratively with supervisors, operators, and site personnel.
About you
Current HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver's Licence.
Must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical.
Ability to work in physically demanding environments.
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Reliable, punctual, and proactive attitude.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Forklift Licence (LF) - desirable.
Confined Space Entry - desirable.
Working at Heights - desirable.
Construction White Card - desirable.
First Aid Certificate - desirable.
