About the Role:
Reporting to the HD Maintenance Supervisor this is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team. You will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance, diagnosing engine & systems problems and repairing & overhauling diesel engines and components on a large mobile fleet with experience working on CAT & Komatsu Heavy Earthmoving equipment is essential.

Rosters & Location:



5 days on 2 days off (Mon to Fri) based at the Huntly McCoy Workshop

7 days on 7 days off (Mon to Tue) based at the Huntly McCoy Workshop

8 days on 6 days off (Mon to Mon) based at the Huntly McCoy Workshop

About you:
Hold a Nationally recognised Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology
Previous experience servicing and maintaining heavy earthmoving machinery
Troubleshooting, diagnostic and fault-finding experience
Ability to read and interpret schematics and manuals
Current WA Drivers Licence (HR desirable)
Safety focussed mindset with a solid work ethic
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening

Desirable:
HRWL - LF, WP, CN, DG
Work safely at heights
Previous experience with Pronto
Certificate II in Automotive air conditioning technology

What we offer:
Competitive hourly rates: Full time $55 - $65 per hour or Casual $65 - $78 per hour
Extra benefits: Site Allowance $5.00 per hour worked
