We are looking for a Male Support Worker to provide individual support to a young participant in Andrews Farm.
The role involves building a positive relationship with the participant and supporting him with social interaction, suitable activities and community participation.
About the Role
The support will focus on:
Providing one-on-one support and companionship
Encouraging social interaction and communication
Supporting emotional regulation and engagement
Participating in fun, age-appropriate activities
Supporting participation in community activities and outings
Following established routines and support strategies
Working respectfully with the participant and family
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience working with children
Previous NDIS or disability support experience is preferred
Can build valuable rapport with the participant
Is comfortable supporting a child with disability
Can follow established routines and support strategies
Can communicate respectfully with the participant and family
Requirements
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working With Children Check
First Aid/CPR
Australian working rights
Driver's licence and reliable vehicle, if required for community access
