We are looking for a friendly and reliable Front of House / Dessert Bar Team Member to join our team at our Indian dessert bar.

This is a customer-facing role that also involves preparing and assembling desserts and drinks behind the counter. No cooking is involved.

Weekend availability is crucial - especially in the evenings.

Key responsibilities include:
Greeting and serving customers
Taking orders and processing payments
Preparing and assembling ice-cream desserts, drinks, and other menu items
Scooping and serving ice cream
Packing takeaway and delivery orders
Restocking ingredients, packaging and service areas
Maintaining a clean and organised front counter and preparation area
Following food safety and hygiene procedures
Assisting the team during busy periods
Providing friendly and effective customer service

We are looking for someone who:




Is confident and friendly with customers
Can work quickly and efficiently in a busy setting
Is reliable and punctual
Has good communication skills
Takes pride in cleanliness and presentation
Is comfortable handling food and preparing desserts and drinks
Can work well independently and as part of a team

Previous hospitality, café, dessert bar, fast food or customer service experience is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service and working in a rapid-paced dessert and hospitality environment.

Pay: From $26.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
