About the role
Lead day-to-day performance across two breeder piggery sites near Kingaroy, each operating approximately 850 sows. Leading and developing an established team of 12, this role will oversee production, welfare, biosecurity, compliance, data, maintenance and improvement. Reporting to the CEO, responsibilities include:
Leading breeding, insemination, farrowing, weaning, feeding and animal health activities.
Monitoring data across pregnancies, live births, pigs weaned, return rates and forecasts.
Maintaining welfare, biosecurity, workplace, safety and audit standards.
Improving data accuracy through PigFlow and MetaFarms systems.
Coordinating advisors, contractors, maintenance, and other internal support teams.
Working with senior management to prioritise and implement strategic objectives across each site.

Skills & experience
Breeder-piggery knowledge across mating, farrowing and weaning.
Proven hands-on supervision, team leadership and staff development.
Knowledge of animal welfare, biosecurity, compliance and audits.
Robust communication, problem-solving, records and production-data skills.
Current Australian driver licence and full Australian work rights.
