Duty Manager | Trade Coast Hotel & Events

We’re looking for a hands-on Duty Manager to join the team at Trade Coast Hotel at Pinkenba

This role requires the individual to have a strong focus on live execution, group bookings, and seasonal events.

This is not a passive management role you’ll be on the floor leading service, solving challenges in real time and ensuring smooth execution of venue operations

What you’ll be doing
Running day to day venue operations during service
Leading floor team during high volume trade
Handling guest issues, service flow and real-time decision making
Supporting rostering execution, stock awareness and service readiness
Maintaining high standards under pressure across FOH operations
Working in bar, gaming, TAB and Keno operations
Managing customer concerns and incidents calmly and professionally
Understanding of liquor, gaming, RSA/RSG and venue compliance
Maintaining strong venue presentation, cleanliness and service standards
Monitoring labour and making sensible staffing decisions based on trade
Cash handling, reconciliations, opening and closing procedures
Supporting stock management and stocktake processes




Communicating clearly with the management team at shift handover
Being willing to jump in and help wherever the venue needs you

Important

This role is focused on execution, not office management. You will be expected to be present on the floor, lead service, and actively contribute during events and operation.
