Machine Operator – Manufacturing / Metal Finishing

Advanced Zinc Platers is looking for a reliable and hardworking Machine Operator to join our production team.

Key responsibilities include:
Operating sandblasting equipment
Air cleaning and drying of finished components
Operating overhead hoists for secure movement of jobs
Packing and preparing finished goods for dispatch
Sequencing jobs based on production priorities
Assisting with loading, unloading and general production activities
Maintaining a clean and safe work area
Following workplace safety procedures and supervisor instructions

What we are looking for:
Previous experience in manufacturing, metal finishing, sandblasting or machine operation preferred
Experience operating overhead hoists is advantageous
Physically fit and comfortable handling metal components
Valuable attention to detail and quality
Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
Willingness to learn and assist across different production activities

Location: Dandenong area, Melbourne
Position: Full time

Training can be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour
