Workshop Supervisor, Vehicle Detailing (Maddington)

NextCarDetail is a premium vehicle detailing business in Maddington, working on everything from daily drivers to prestige vehicles, along with commercial fleet and heavy machinery. We're looking for a Workshop Supervisor to keep the day to day running smoothly.

The role

Keeping across the daily bookings and making sure jobs run on time
Overseeing both workshop and mobile jobs, including checking in on mobile work out on the road
Checking work before it goes back to the customer so the standard holds
Looking after customers at drop off and collection, and handling calls and enquiries
Making sure workshop time and bays are being used properly through the day
Arranging cover when someone calls in sick so the schedule still runs
Getting hands on with detailing when needed, whether that's covering a gap or helping get a job out on time
Keeping the workshop organised and stocked

This is a supervisor role rather than a management one. You're not running the business,

you're making sure the day runs properly.

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a supervisor or team leader position, any industry
Confident with customers in person and over the phone
Organised and reliable, able to make a decision without checking in on everything
Current driver's licence
Happy to get hands on when the job calls for it
Detailing experience is a bonus, not essential, we'll train the right person
Sales experience is a plus, with commission available on current work you bring in

What's on offer

$35 to $45 per hour depending on experience
Commission on current work you bring in
A clean, well set up workshop in Maddington
Final rate negotiable based on what you bring to the role

To apply, send through your resume along with a short note about where you've supervised before.

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
