CHEF - POCKET BONDI

Location: Pocket, Bondi Beach

We’re looking for a Chef to join our kitchen team and help deliver consistently high-quality food across daily service, events and busy periods.

The Role

As a Chef at Pocket, you’ll work closely with the kitchen and venue team to ensure food is prepared and delivered to a consistently high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and cooking food to Pocket's recipes and quality standards
Maintaining consistency, presentation and portion control across every service
Running your section efficiently during busy periods
Assisting with prep and ensuring the kitchen is ready for service
Monitoring stock levels and communicating ordering requirements to the Kitchen Manager
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and kitchen organisation
Minimising food waste and ensuring produce is used efficiently
Supporting the wider kitchen team across service and prep as required




Contributing to a positive, organised and skilled kitchen environment

About You

We’re looking for someone who:
Has previous experience working as a Chef in a busy kitchen
Has strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking and kitchen operations
Can work efficiently under pressure without compromising quality
Has a solid eye for presentation and attention to detail
Is organised, reliable and takes pride in their work
Works well as part of a team
Has a solid understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
Is proactive and willing to take ownership of their responsibilities

Pay: $56,687.73 – $86,862.52 per year
