Located right on the beachfront at vibrant Dee Why Beach, we are a busy, community-focused cafe known for fresh food, great coffee, and healthy coastal vibes. We pride ourselves on serving up high-quality food quickly to locals, beachgoers, and regulars. Behind the scenes, we operate as a supportive, high-energy team that works closely together to deliver fantastic food and customer service.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and energetic Cafe Allrounder with strong kitchen and food prep experience to join our team.

In this role, you will focus on our food and cold bar operations while jumping in wherever needed across the floor to support the team during peak beach rushes.

What you’ll be doing:
Kitchen & Food Station: Preparing fresh food to order, including acai bowls, smoothie bowls, salads, toasted sandwiches, wraps, and fresh juices.
Prep Work: Slicing, chopping, and preparing ingredients (vegetables, proteins, garnishes, and house sauces) to keep the line stocked and clean.
Customer Service & Floor: Welcoming customers, taking orders accurately at the till, and running food to tables.
General Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining kitchen prep areas, washing dishes, clearing tables, and adhering to strict food safety standards.





Who We’re Looking For
Kitchen Experience: Previous experience in a fast-paced cafe kitchen, juice bar, or deli handling food assembly and prep is essential.
Food Skills: Fast, neat knife skills and a eye for presentation (especially when building aesthetically pleasing acai bowls and fresh salads).
Allrounder Mindset: A proactive, team-first attitude—you’re happy to step away from the kitchen line to run food, transparent tables, or take orders when needed.
Pace & Hygiene: Comfortable handling high-volume weekend rushes, working under pressure, and maintaining high food hygiene standards.
Availability: Must be available to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) plus versatile weekday shifts. 30 - 38 hours per week.
