We are looking for a counter sales person - office all rounder/sales person to join our team working Monday to Friday - there is no public transportation to our depot so the applicants must be able to make their own way to and from work at Stapylton everyday. Experience in the fencing or steel industry is an advantage but not essential. I am happy to employ a school leavers and train you up but also willing to take someone experienced.

The office here is very much a "no frills" environment and due to a possible land resumption in the future we are unable to upgrade at the moment. We can however offer excellent job stability to the right candidate.

Duties include but are not limited to - answering calls, emailing quotes, offering current products to our client base via phone or email as well as reaching out to potential clients in targeted areas, writing up orders (we handwrite them so must have decent legible writing),



pricing orders for cash sales (good math skills are essential), liaising with the manufacturing team as well as the foreman to check on order progress and deliveries. We have a seconds yard and generally assist customer with some loading in this area handling gates and small rolls of wire - nothing heavy though as we have forklifts for that.

Working hours are 8.00am until 4.00pm though we can be a little versatile with times where possible.

The job is offered on a three month casual (38 hrs per week) trial basis with a view to permanent after that.
