Daily tasks and responsibilities:

Greet Members, helps members load merchandise on the conveyor belt, asks members packing preferences, answers questions, relays information on special promotion and provide prompt and courteous service to members, employees and suppliers.

Transfer items not on the belt to a separate cart or a flatbed as a cashier scan items, placing barcodes up for the cashier when possible. Assist cashiers with getting supervisor verifications, bottom of basket, or non-transferable items. Pack member's shopping into their trolley. Check packaging for tampering.



Assist members with loading their shopping into their car when necessary.

Follow proper departmental procedures. Maintain the cleanliness of the register and general Front End area. Report and clean spills and trip hazards immediately.

Retrieves carts and flatbeds from the parking area using a rope with clapsing hook, pushing no more than 10 carts at once. Keep the front of the building clean. Perform tasks such as set up and closing duties for the department, such as returning products, collecting paperwork and cleaning area.

Non-Essential Functions and Tasks:

Assists other areas in the department as necessary.

Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.

Operates mechanical trash compactor/cardboard baler.
