Austek Roads is expanding its services into ACT and we’re looking for a Bitumen Tanker Driver to join our agile team based in Hume, ACT. We deliver high-quality asphalt surfacing, patching, and civil projects across the ACT and surrounding regions, with a robust reputation for reliability, performance, and customer service.

What you'll be doing
Safely operating heavy vehicles, plant & equipment
Safely carry out labouring duties
Conduct Pre-Start checks prior to operating any trucks, plant or equipment; reporting any breakdowns or urgent issues immediately
Adhering to all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
Ensuring a high quality of service, work and workmanship at all times

What we're looking for




Current holder of a HC (Heavy Combination) heavy vehicle drivers licence
Current holder of a Dangerous Goods Drivers Licence
Ability to operate various types of equipment that may include but not limited to light vehicles, cars, loaders, rollers and specific Asphalt Paving equipment
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Commitment to workplace health and safety
Silica and Asbestos awareness training
