Lead architecture across enterprise cyber security platforms

Long-term Federal Government contract in Canberra
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Cyber Security Architect to provide technical and strategic architecture leadership across a complex enterprise cyber security setting. You will lead the design, integration and uplift of security monitoring, identity, endpoint, cloud and network security capabilities. The successful Cyber Security Architect will be offered an initial 12-month contract with the view to be extended, based onsite in Canberra.
The successful Cyber Security Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Lead architecture across SIEM, security monitoring, endpoint, identity and cloud security.
Develop security designs, integration patterns, technical standards and implementation roadmaps.
Identify security monitoring gaps, vulnerabilities and opportunities to uplift security platforms.
Provide technical assurance across cyber,
cloud, network, endpoint and enterprise initiatives.
The successful Cyber Security Architect will have experience in the following:
Enterprise cyber security architecture, SIEM and security monitoring.
Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Entra ID and Active Directory.
Endpoint/server hardening, vulnerability management and security configuration.
Applying ISM, PSPF, Essential Eight and ASD guidance to security architecture.
Candidates must be able to obtain an NV1 security clearance.
