We are currently recruiting for a Collections Officer to join the Collections & Financial Assistance team of a leading financial services organisation.

This is a outstanding prospect for someone with collections, customer service or financial services experience who enjoys problem-solving, negotiation and working in a fast-paced environment.

About the role

Key responsibilities include:
Managing inbound and outbound calls and emails
Managing a ledger of delinquent contracts, with a focus on curing arrears
Providing a high level of customer service across all contact points
Managing bankruptcy and liquidation matters and ensuring relevant processes are followed
Maintaining accurate registers and documentation
Supporting AFCA processes and ensuring actions are followed through
Negotiating payment arrangements and resolving customer issues

About you

We're looking for someone who has:




Previous experience in collections, credit, financial services or customer service
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
The ability to manage difficult conversations and resolve conflict professionally
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong attention to detail and administration skills
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of bankruptcy, liquidation or legal processes would be highly regarded.
