Are you a 3rd or 4th Year Sheetmetal Fabrication Apprentice looking for an opportunity to build your skills, gain valuable industry experience and work alongside experienced tradespeople?

MEGT is currently seeking a motivated apprentice to join a well-established WA-based industrial fabrication business specialising in sheetmetal fabrication, ventilation, dust and fume extraction, and associated industrial services.

This is an excellent opportunity to continue your apprenticeship in a hands-on environment, working across a variety of workshop and site-based projects.

What you'll be doing
As part of the team, you'll have the chance to develop your skills in:
Sheetmetal fabrication and assembly
Cutting, folding and forming sheetmetal
MIG and TIG welding
Working with stainless steel, aluminium and other materials
Reading and interpreting drawings and measurements
Workshop fabrication and preparation
Assisting with on-site installation and maintenance
General workshop duties and housekeeping

What we're looking for

We're looking for an apprentice who:




Is currently in their 3rd or 4th year of a Sheetmetal Fabrication apprenticeship
Is keen to continue developing their trade skills
Takes pride in their work and has good attention to detail
Is reliable, punctual and eager to learn
Works well as part of a team
Has a strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Is comfortable working in both workshop and site environments

Previous experience in sheetmetal fabrication, welding, ductwork or industrial fabrication will be highly regarded.
