KLEEMANN Elevators Australia is a leading provider of elevator and escalator solutions, delivering installation, modernisation, maintenance, and breakdown services across Australia. Due to continued growth in Victoria, we are seeking an experienced Senior Lift Technician / Supervisor with robust leadership capabilities to join our Melbourne team.
This role offers the opportunity to combine hands-on technical expertise with supervision responsibilities, a great opportunity to be the king of your own castle growing the team while ensuring exceptional customer service and operational performance.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be working across both the service and installation businesses assisting the project teams on a diverse portfolio of lifts and escalators.
Key responsibilities
Support the installation teams as necessary including supervision of direct and indirect team members
Conduct site inspections and quality audits.
Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults.
Technical guidance and training as required.
Compliance testing of Lifts and Escalators
Assist with workforce planning, scheduling, and job allocation.
Ensure compliance with WHS requirements and company procedures.
Build and maintain solid relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
Perform servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs on a wide range of elevator equipment where needed.
Attend emergency breakdown callouts if required.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across both the Installation and Service operations.
About you
Current Victorian Electrical Licence.
Previous experience leading, mentoring or supervising technicians.
Proven experience servicing and repairing lifts and escalators.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Current driver's licence
Desirable:
Experience across multiple lift brands.
Previous experience in an Installation / Service Supervisor or Leading Hand role.
Knowledge of Australian Standards and lift industry regulations.
Experience with modernisation projects and major repairs.
