Role Description As a Trainer Assessor at Link Resources RTO 45483, you will deliver nationally accredited training and assessment to learners in sectors such as resources, construction, and civil infrastructure. You will facilitate classroom and practical training sessions, assess competency against accredited units, and ensure all training and assessment activities meet regulatory and RTO standards. Daily responsibilities include delivering and facilitating training courses, maintaining accurate student records, supporting learner progression, and providing feedback to help participants achieve required outcomes.
You will collaborate with internal teams and industry stakeholders to align training content with current workplace practices, safety standards, and client needs.
Qualifications and Experience
Training and assessment expertise, including a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) and experience delivering nationally accredited qualifications, skill sets, and units of competency.
Industry knowledge and practical experience in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Mining, Construction, Civil Infrastructure, Manufacturing, or Utilities,
with solid understanding of WHS/HSE practices and compliance requirements.
Curriculum and resource development skills, including the ability to design, contextualize, and update training materials and assessment tools to reflect current industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
Learner engagement and communication skills, including transparent verbal and written communication, facilitation skills, and the ability to support diverse learners in both classroom and practical environments.
Administrative and compliance capabilities, including accurate record-keeping, familiarity with RTO and AQTF/ASQA requirements, and effective use of learning management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
Relevant vocational qualifications in fields related to health, safety, resources, construction, or similar disciplines, with current licenses or skilled registrations where applicable (e.g., WHS, emergency response, medical or paramedical backgrounds).
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues and deliver multiple training courses.
