Welder / Fabricator – Architectural Steel

Ozsteel Design manufactures bespoke steel windows and doors for some of Western Australia's leading architectural homes.

We're looking for a skilled Welder / Metal Fabricator to join our small workshop team.

You don't need previous window and door experience.

If you come from general fabrication, sheet metal, automotive/trailer fabrication, architectural metalwork or another quality welding background and enjoy precise, detailed work, we'd like to hear from you.

We'll teach you the specialist side.

The Work

This isn't repetitive production-line fabrication. You'll manufacture custom steel windows and doors from detailed workshop drawings, with most products individually made for high-end residential projects.

Your work will include
welding and fabrication
Cutting, fitting, grinding and assembly
Reading workshop drawings
Producing accurate, clean finished work
Quality checking completed products
Working alongside our fabrication team and Production Manager

Who We'd Like to Hear From





We're more interested in your fabrication ability and attitude than whether you've made a steel window before. You could currently be working as a:
Welder / Fabricator
Sheet Metal Worker
Boilermaker
Architectural Metalworker
Automotive or Trailer Fabricator
General Metal Fabricator

You'll need to be comfortable working accurately from drawings, have positive welding/fabrication skills and take genuine pride in the finished product.

What We Offer
$35–$40 per hour, depending on experience
Regular overtime available – up to 2 hours per day & weekend work when needed.
