Australia | APAC Equity ETFs

Venture Search is partnered with a Tier 1 proprietary trading firm looking to hire a Systematic Equity ETF Trader to join its growing equities business in Australia.

We're looking to speak with experienced systematic traders with expertise across APAC equity markets and Equity ETFs . This is an opportunity to join a market-leading trading platform, working alongside world-class researchers, traders and technologists to develop and scale systematic trading strategies across the APAC region.

The Role
Develop, implement and optimise systematic trading strategies across APAC Equity ETFs.
Conduct quantitative research to identify new trading opportunities and sources of alpha across APAC equity markets.
Monitor strategy performance and refine models to improve risk-adjusted returns.
Work closely with quantitative researchers, developers and traders to take strategies from research through to production.
Enhance execution, automation and trading infrastructure across the desk.




Analyse market microstructure, liquidity and cross-market relationships to improve trading and execution.
Contribute to the continued growth of a high-performing systematic equities business.

Requirements
Proven experience trading systematic strategies across APAC Equity ETFs and/or regional equity markets .
Strong understanding of APAC equity markets, ETF structures and electronic execution.
Background within a proprietary trading firm, hedge fund, market maker or investment bank.
Strong understanding of quantitative trading, electronic execution and market microstructure.
Excellent Python skills with a solid quantitative and analytical mindset.
Demonstrated track record of developing and managing profitable systematic trading strategies.
Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented, rapid-paced trading environment.
