Vince Cordoma Transport, located in regional areas is now seeking for a full time Motor Mechanic / Machinery Supervisor to join our growing team

About the role

Duties/Responsibilities: For Motor Mechanic

Inspect, maintain, and repair commercial vehicles and trucks that run on gasoline, electricity, or alternative fuels, such as ethanol

Follow a checklist to ensure the examination of every critical part

Perform basic care maintenance, such as oil changes and tire rotations, diagnose more complex problems, and plan and execute vehicle repairs

During routine service inspections, test and lubricate engines and other major components. Repair or replace worn parts before they cause breakdowns or damage the vehicle

Reassembling engines and parts after being repaired

Liaising both with customers and support staffs

Duties/Responsibilities: For Machinery Supervisor

Inspect machinery and equipment to identify faults and maintenance requirements

Coordinate and supervise machinery servicing and repair activities

Monitor machinery performance and operational efficiency

Schedule and allocate work to workshop and technical staff





Ensure machinery is maintained according to manufacturer and company standards

Maintain accurate maintenance and service records

Monitor inventory of machinery parts and workshop consumables

Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements

Liaise with customers, suppliers and management regarding machinery servicing requirements

Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues

Perks and perks

Outstanding salary package ($75,000 to $115,000) will be rewarded to the right candidate.

Skills and experience

Ideal Candidate must be:

Previous experience in a similar role

Continually adapt to changing technology and repair techniques

Wide understanding of machinery operation and maintenance techniques

Solid leadership and supervisory abilities

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
