Senior Hair Stylist – Casual

Solie the Space is a boutique freelance collective in Petrie, created to feel calm, welcoming and a little more personal than a traditional salon.

As Solie continues to grow, I’m looking for an experienced Senior Hair Stylist to join me in a casual employed role.

I’d love to find someone who is confident across all aspects of hairdressing, with a particular love for colour, blonding and balayage. Someone who genuinely loves what they do, takes pride in their work and really values the client experience.

The role will begin as approximately 21–28 hours across 3 weekdays per week, with no weekend work, with the opportunity for the position to grow over time.

I’m looking for someone who is:
Qualified and experienced as a senior stylist
Confident in colour, blonding, balayage, cutting and styling
Comfortable working independently and managing their own clients
Warm,

reliable and professional
Passionate about their craft and creating a great client experience
Looking for a relaxed, supportive salon workplace where they can genuinely enjoy coming to work

You don’t need to bring an existing clientele, although existing clients are absolutely welcome. Solié is continuing to grow, with solid demand from current clients already coming through.

Above-award pay, based on experience.

If Solié sounds like somewhere you could see yourself, I’d love to hear from you. Please apply with a little about yourself, your experience and some examples of your work.

Petrie, North Brisbane

Pay: $36.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21.0 – 28.0 per week

Work Location: In person
