The Role
Underwrite Financial Lines, Professional Indemnity, Directors and Officers and Management Liability
Develop and implement marketing plan
Develop and build broker relationships
Ensure excellent services standards including quality of underwriting and timely response which meet or exceed company standards
Continually seek ways to improve organizational efficiency, effectiveness and profitability
Participate in relevant skilled organizations as a representative of the company
Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management team
In conjunction with the State Manager, ensure that budget goals are met in terms of revenue and expenses
In conjunction with the State Manager, participate in goal setting, planning and executive decision-making
Mentoring of Underwriters and Business Support Officers
Market and encourage brokers to use our on-line solutions (SCTP and BindIT)
Actively participate in Innovation projects
The Candidate - Skills, Qualifications & Experience Insurance or finance qualifications or related discipline
