Job: - Python Full Stack Developer (Must have Baseline Security Clearance)

Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)

Location: - Sydney or Canberra

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Python Full Stack Developer for a long-term contract with one of our Federal Govt Client with solid experience in full stack and python.

Required Skills
Minimum 5 + years of experience in a Full stack engineer role with extensive working knowledge of Python.
Solid understanding of Python features in version 3.7+ with a background working in data migration, data wrangling initiatives.
Experience in using jinja2 template in python.
Experience in building REST services using python.
Experience in SQL database programming using python ORM framework like peewee.
Experience in static type checking tools with Python and experience in DevOps.
Experience in AWS technology: Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS and event sourced mapping




Design and development knowledge on Kafka and spark structured streaming (Databricks etc.)
Working knowledge of Unix/Linux systems
Working knowledge of multiple database paradigms like RDBMS and NoSQL.
Experience with Agile Development methodologies

Desirable Skills
Experience in python performance optimization, multi-threaded programming is highly desirable.
Java or Scala experience is a bonus.
Front-end development experience with TS/Angular is desirable but not essential.
Experience in designing and building data pipelines on Spark utilizing either PySpark.
Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in the Financial Services domain.

Visa Status
Candidates must have Baseline Security Clearance.

Working arrangements: - (Hybrid) - Adaptable office / WfH - Canberra preferred
