We are partnered with a leading civil contractor that have projects across Greater Sydney area. We need someone that can handle projects involving earthworks, residential or industrial subdivisions, road construction, and underground utilities.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinating and driving project delivery from commencement through to completion
Working closely with site-based teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification
Managing project schedules, budgets, procurement activities, subcontractors, and overall project performance
Monitoring financial outcomes, including forecasting, cost tracking, progress claims, and variations
Maintaining solid working relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and key stakeholders
Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, safety standards, environmental requirements, and relevant legislation
Identifying project risks and implementing practical solutions to maintain delivery targets
Assisting with tenders, methodology development, and planning for upcoming works
Providing leadership and support to operational teams while promoting a positive and cooperative culture





Profile
Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
Demonstrated experience managing civil infrastructure projects within a contractor environment
Exposure to projects involving earthworks, residential or industrial subdivisions, road construction, and underground utilities
Sound knowledge of project programming, budgeting, forecasting, contract administration, and cost control
Robust communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
A practical and proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes
A strong focus on workplace health and safety, quality assurance, and continuous improvement
Proficiency using Microsoft Office and project management software
A current Driver Licence and White Card
