About the role

Reporting to the Board, the CEO will provide strategic, operational and stakeholder leadership across the organisation. A key focus will be to build trusted relationships with government, sporting bodies, affiliated clubs, volunteers, officials, members, promoters and partners.

Key responsibilities
Lead the delivery of Motorcycling WA's strategic and operational priorities.
Provide transparent advice and reporting to the Board.
Build trusted relationships with government, sporting bodies, clubs, members, volunteers, officials, promoters and commercial partners.
Oversee operations, governance, financial management, risk, compliance and member services.
Support participation growth, club capability, facility sustainability and inclusive pathways across the sport.
Identify opportunities for funding, advocacy, commercial partnerships and sector development.

About you
Experienced, practical leader with solid governance, financial, commercial and stakeholder management skills.
Experience from sport,



member services, not-for-profit, community, events, a peak body or a similarly complex workplace.
Experienced and competent with MYOB accounting software, working with a budget and experienced with the Microsoft office suite.
Confident working with a Board, leading staff, engaging volunteers and building productive partnerships.
An appreciation of motorcycle sport and recreation will be highly regarded.

Motorcycling Western Australia is a not for profit, State Sporting Association and State Controlling Body established to regulate and support the delivery of motorcycle competition sport and recreational activities in Western Australia, supporting motorcycle sport across the State, working with clubs, officials, volunteers, participants and partners to promote safe, sustainable and inclusive participation.
