MEDICAL SECRETARY

Specialist Haematology Practice | Hollywood Medical Centre, Nedlands $45 per hour + superannuation

We are seeking an experienced, friendly and highly organised Medical Secretary to join our specialist haematology practice at Hollywood Medical Centre.

You will work alongside our existing Medical Secretary, sharing responsibility for the day-to-day reception and administration of our outpatient clinics.

This role would suit someone with medical secretarial or medical administration experience who enjoys working collaboratively in a small, professional and supportive practice.

ABOUT THE PRACTICE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Answering patient phone calls and managing enquiries
Making and managing patient appointments
Welcoming patients and providing front-desk support
Processing referrals and preparing clinic lists




Managing clinical correspondence and documentation
Assisting with medical billing and associated administration
Liaising with patients, doctors, hospitals and other healthcare providers
General practice administration

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who is:
Experienced in medical reception, secretarial or administrative work
Friendly, organised and reliable
Calm, compassionate and professional when dealing with patients
Comfortable working in a busy clinical environment
A clear communicator with strong attention to detail
Collaborative and happy working as part of a small team

Previous experience in a medical practice or specialist medical setting is highly desirable.
