Medical Receptionist – Experienced in Best Practice Software

We are looking for an experienced and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our team!

We are seeking a professional, organised and compassionate receptionist who has previous experience working in a medical practice and is confident using Best Practice Software (BPS).

About the role

As our Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing a welcoming and professional experience for patients while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.

Key responsibilities
Welcoming and assisting patients in person and over the phone
Managing appointments, recalls and patient enquiries
Using Best Practice Software for patient bookings and administration
Processing payments and Medicare claims
Maintaining accurate patient records
Liaising with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals
Managing incoming calls, emails and correspondence




Providing excellent customer service and maintaining patient confidentiality

About you The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in a medical reception role
Hands-on experience with Best Practice Software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Robust attention to detail and organisational skills
A friendly, qualified and caring manner
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
A robust understanding of patient confidentiality and medical practice procedures
