Reporting to the Head of Outdoor Education, the successful candidate will contribute to the planning, coordination and delivery of a diverse range of outdoor experiences that promote personal growth, resilience, wellbeing and environmental awareness. The role requires a robust commitment to student safety, exceptional organisational skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with students, families, staff and external providers.
Key responsibilities include
Designing, preparing and documenting Outdoor Education programs across multiple year levels.
Coordinating and leading programs from Prep to Year 9.
Managing student wellbeing and risk management processes, including incident reporting and follow-up.
Liaising with students, parents, staff and specialist providers to support individual student needs and program participation.
Collaborating with colleagues to manage equipment, resources, logistics and program preparation.
Overseeing food planning,
transport arrangements and operational requirements for camps and expeditions.
Providing leadership and support to Outdoor Education instructors and program staff.
Contributing actively to curriculum development, program reviews and the broader life of the school community.

Current Wilderness First Aid qualification (minimum four-day course; seven-day course preferred).
A valid Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration is a requirement of this position.
