Role Description The Night Auditor is a Casual role, on-site role based in Sydney, NSW, responsible for ensuring smooth overnight front office operations and accurate end-of-day financial reporting. Day-to-day tasks include handling guest check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, responding to guest inquiries, and providing professional customer service throughout the night.

The role oversees cash handling, posting room charges, reconciling daily transactions, and preparing summary reports for management.

Auditor also monitors lobby and front desk areas, addresses guest issues or emergencies in line with company procedures, and collaborates with other departments to support a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment.

Qualifications
Robust front office experience, including Receptionist Duties and Reservations management.
Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to support diverse guests professionally.
Proven Cash Handling experience, including balancing tills, reconciling payments, and preparing financial summaries.
Prior experience in hotel night audit or front desk roles, preferably in a hospitality or commercial setting.
Comfort working overnight shifts in an in office setting, with reliable time management and attention to detail.
Ability to use property management systems and basic office software for data entry and reporting.
Knowledge of hotel operations, reservations processes, and safety protocols; experience within Australian hospitality standards is an advantage.
Relevant training or qualifications in hospitality, accounting, or business administration are beneficial.
