We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join the team at The Common Room Cafe Project in Stirling.

This is a outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a friendly team and takes pride in keeping a busy kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly.

About the role

As our Kitchen Porter, you’ll play an significant part in supporting the kitchen team with:
Washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment
Keeping kitchen areas, floors and workspaces clean and tidy
Assisting with rubbish removal and general cleaning duties
Helping with basic food preparation when required
Keeping kitchen supplies organised and stocked
Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
Supporting the wider cafe team during busy service periods

About you We’re looking for someone who is:
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment




Able to work independently as well as part of a team
Organised and takes pride in cleanliness
Physically capable of being on your feet and completing kitchen duties
Positive, friendly and willing to help wherever needed
Previous hospitality or kitchen experience is helpful, but training can be provided for the right person
