: Support Worker. We are currently looking for a Disability Support Worker who has experience working with children. This role focuses on supporting clients to participate in age-appropriate activities and tasks including employment, in home support and community access. The support worker must enjoy being active and healthy, someone who has a dynamic and engaging personality—someone who can build a solid rapport, provide consistent support, and encourage the client’s independence and social participation

Social Support/Transport
Personal care: includes some dressing and appearance and personal hygiene
Emotional Connection: social, outgoing, good conversationalist, fun and engaging
Social support/transportation: support clients to access activities and outings in the community, attend appointments, shopping




Provide 1:1 support in response to individual client needs
Assist the client according to the requirement in their plan
Monitoring the well-being of the clients and report on their progress.

What you will need: ON THE JOB TRAINING PROVIDED
Minimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services (preferred).
Current CPR / First Aid Certificate.
Current Working with Children Check.
Current and satisfactory Federal Police Check.
Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is preferred).
Smartphone with internet access.

Pay: From $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 per week
