About the role

As Centre Director and Nominated Supervisor, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and operation of the service. You will be supported by Kinley management while having the autonomy to lead your centre, build a positive team culture and create an setting where children and educators can thrive.

Key responsibilities
Providing strong, visible and supportive leadership to the team
Ensuring the highest standards of child safety, wellbeing and safeguarding
Leading compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Law and Regulations
Driving continuous improvement and supporting the service's Quality Improvement Plan
Building meaningful relationships with children and their families
Supporting educators to deliver high-quality, play-based educational programmes
Developing, mentoring and retaining a strong and engaged team
Managing staffing, rosters and the day-to-day operation of the centre
Supporting enrolments, occupancy and positive family engagement
Creating a workplace culture where educators feel valued, respected and supported





About you
A Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent
Previous leadership experience within an early childhood service
The ability to undertake the responsibilities of Nominated Supervisor
Solid knowledge of the National Quality Framework, EYLF and regulatory requirements
A genuine commitment to child safety and creating a strong safeguarding culture
Solid communication and relationship-building skills
Experience leading, mentoring and developing educators
Sound operational and organisational skills
A positive, solutions-focused leadership style
