Front Office Receptionist – Quest Toowoomba

Quest Toowoomba is seeking a friendly, skilled and customer-focused Front Office Receptionist to join our team on a casual basis.

As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play an key role in creating a warm and welcoming experience throughout their stay.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include
Welcoming guests and providing friendly and professional check-in and check-out services
Handling accommodation enquiries and reservations
Answering telephone calls and responding to guest enquiries
Providing information about Quest Toowoomba and local attractions, restaurants and services
Processing payments and maintaining accurate guest and reservation information
Promoting accommodation and assisting with room sales
Responding to guest requests and resolving issues in a professional manner
Liaising with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations
Maintaining a clean, organised and qualified reception area
Providing consistently high standards of customer service

About You

We are looking for someone who:




Has a genuine passion for hospitality and customer service
Is friendly, approachable and confident when dealing with guests
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Is reliable, organised and pays attention to detail
Can work independently and as part of a team
Has a professional presentation and positive attitude
Is willing to learn and take initiative
Has previous hotel, hospitality, tourism, retail or other customer service experience (preferred but not essential)

Previous experience with a hotel reservation or property management system will be highly regarded.

This is a casual position with regular shifts available. The successful applicant must be flexible and available to work afternoon/evening shifts, weekends and public holidays. Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.
