As a Senior DevOps Engineer , you will bring a cross-disciplinary skill set that spans the cloud, development, operations, continuous delivery, data, and security.

For this role, you’ll need a deep understanding and experience in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CICCD) theory, concepts and real-world application. You need to be experienced with CI/CD tools and systems, and understand their setup, so you can integrate them to create fully functioning, cohesive delivery pipelines and commit, merge, build, test, package, and deploy code.
Work within agile software delivery teams on customer sites

Promote sound software engineering and DevOps practices

Keep your skills up to date and always be looking for continuous improvement

Qualifications and Education Requirements
A minimum of 10 years of Cloud and DevOps Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure

Hands-on experience in (expert level)
Docker, Kubernetes & Rancher
API Gateways
Security Groups
Jenkins
Core AWS (CloudFormation, EC2, S3, Fargate, etc.)
Terraform, Bitbucket, GCP, AWS, Azure, CICD process, Github Actions, Python scripting, Docker and Kubernetes
CI/CD
Bash Scripting
Python
Good shell scripting experience
Experience managing messaging applications and configuring them, e.g. IBM MQ, Kafka
Good understanding of networking concepts
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Robust time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads under pressure and meet deadlines
A self-starter who is hands-on and knows how to find answers and work with ambiguity
