Clayfield Dental is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant who is equally confident helping on reception to join the team. You will work across both the clinical and reception sides of the practice, moving comfortably between chairside assisting and front desk duties as needed. No two days will look exactly the same.
Key responsibilities
Chairside assisting with dentists and Oral Health Therapist
Preparing and turning over treatment rooms
Sterilisation and infection control
Maintaining instruments, materials and stock
Welcoming patients and helping them feel comfortable
Answering phones and managing patient enquiries
Coordinating appointments and treatment
Processing accounts and payments
Supporting patient flow throughout the day
About you
Has solid dental assisting experience
Is confident working independently and as part of a small team
Can comfortably assist with reception,
phones, bookings and patient enquiries
Has excellent communication and customer service skills
Is organised, reliable and happy to help wherever needed
Ideally has experience using EXACT dental software
Is available Wednesdays, with flexibility for Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays
Has greater availability from January 2027
