About the Role

Angie Sue is looking for a passionate and experienced Full time Chef to join our team at our Lauderdale location.

We are seeking a motivated Chef who takes pride in preparing fresh, high-quality food and enjoys working in a busy café workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of café-style breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes.
Ensure consistent food quality, taste and presentation.
Manage food preparation and service during busy periods.
Follow recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards.
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies.
Minimise food wastage and maintain proper stock rotation.
Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen.
Follow food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.
Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Assist with menu preparation and development where required.

About You




Previous experience as a Chef or in a similar commercial kitchen role.
Relevant Commercial Cookery or Hospitality qualification.
Strong cooking and food preparation skills.
Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
Positive attitude and positive teamwork skills.
Ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
