About the role

Running from approximately November through February, you'll be the face of Lerida Estate at our summer cellar door in Berry. You'll be hands-on across everything – welcoming customers, running tastings, talking about our wines and story, making sales, keeping the space looking excellent and ensuring the cellar door runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities
Welcome guests and host wine tastings
Confidently talk customers through the Lerida Estate range and recommend wines
Drive bottle sales and process transactions
Manage the cellar door space and keep the venue organised and well presented
Monitor stock and assist with opening and closing procedures
Ensure responsible service and NSW liquor requirements are followed
Work independently and take responsibility for the cellar door during shifts
Create a relaxed, knowledgeable and engaging experience for guests

About you
A current NSW RSA – essential
A genuine passion for wine and an interest in learning more
Hospitality, cellar door, bar,



restaurant or wine retail experience
A warm, confident and engaging personality
Robust organisation and attention to detail
The maturity and reliability to supervise and manage the space
Confidence working independently and making decisions when required
A hands-on attitude – you're happy to do whatever needs doing
The ability to talk about wine without making it intimidating or overly reliable
Availability across the Friday, Saturday and Sunday trading hours throughout the summer season

About us Lerida Estate is a cool-climate winery located at Lake George in the Canberra District. We produce a range of wines including Pinot Noir, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Shiraz and other cool-climate varieties. Our summer cellar door at Social Life gives us the opportunity to bring Lerida Estate to Berry and introduce our wines to locals and visitors spending summer on the South Coast.
