About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Architectural Draftsman to join our expanding team. You will work in a team-oriented setting on a variety of multi-residential, commercial and industrial projects. You will be involved in all stages of projects, from design concept through to construction drawings.

Key responsibilities
Architectural detailing
Coordination of internal and external schedules
Ensure consistency between Concept, DA, CC and Marketing documentation
Look for design opportunities and efficiencies across all our products
Include and coordinate all external consultants' information as part of architectural packages
Assist in the development of company protocols on document transmit systems
Coordinate with the design, construction and estimation departments to ensure design intent is followed throughout and resolve any detailing issues prior to construction
Assist Construction Managers,



Architects and Surveyors in planning and organisation
Interpret plans, regulations and codes of practice
Prepare preliminary sketches, working drawings and specifications

About you
Bachelor's degree in Architecture
General Construction Induction White Card
At least 5 years' drafting experience
Minimum 5 years' AutoCAD and Revit experience, from concept through to detailed documentation
Solid architectural detailing skills
Detailed knowledge of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and Australian Standards
Understanding of the building construction process
Ability to interpret and analyse plans and specifications
Low and medium-density residential experience preferred
Knowledge of graphic software beneficial but not essential

Pay: $80,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
