Cook – Casual or Full Time

Montalto Vineyard is a premium hospitality and wine tourism destination operating a restaurant, cellar door and events venue on the Mornington Peninsula. We are seeking an experienced Cook/Chef to join our professional kitchen team on a full time or casual basis.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook high-quality menu items in a professional kitchen workplace
Contribute to menu development and seasonal menu planning
Maintain food quality, presentation and portion control standards
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards
Provide guidance to junior cooks and kitchen staff
Support efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods

Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ relevant commercial cooking experience
Experience working in a qualified hospitality kitchen
Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
Ability to work a flexible roster including weekends and public holidays

Salary Competitive Salary commensurate with skills and experience.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
