We are seeking an experienced API Automation Test Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team delivering enterprise-scale digital solutions. The ideal candidate will have robust expertise in API testing, automation frameworks, contract testing, and non-functional testing (NFT), ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of distributed applications and microservices.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive API test strategies for RESTful and event-driven services.
Build and maintain robust automation frameworks using Java or C#.
Develop automated API test suites using tools such as Rest Assured, Karate, Postman/Newman, WireMock, or Playwright API.
Perform Contract Testing using tools such as Pact to validate interactions between microservices.
Conduct Non-Functional Testing (NFT) including performance, scalability, reliability, and resilience testing.
Create and maintain CI/CD-integrated automated test pipelines.
Work closely with developers, architects, and product teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC.
Validate API security, authentication, authorization, and data integrity.
Analyze test results,



identify defects, and drive resolution through collaboration with engineering teams.
Contribute to quality engineering best practices, standards, and governance.

Required Skills & Experience
5 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
Solid hands-on experience in API Testing and API Automation.
Proficiency in Java or C# programming.
Experience with automation frameworks such as:
Rest Assured
Karate
Postman/Newman
Playwright API
Selenium (preferred)
Solid understanding of:
REST APIs
JSON/XML
OAuth2, JWT Authentication
Microservices Architecture
Hands-on experience in Contract Testing using tools such as Pact.
Experience with Non-Functional Testing including:
Performance Testing
Load Testing
Stress Testing
Reliability/Resilience Testing
Familiarity with tools such as JMeter, Gatling, k6, or LoadRunner.
Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
