Role overview

Key responsibilities
Overseeing day‑to‑day operations of the company’s vehicle fleet in Perth
Planning, scheduling, and dispatching vehicles to meet operational requirements
Ensuring compliance with transport regulations, safety standards, and company policies
Managing vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repair schedules to minimise downtime
Monitoring fleet performance, fuel usage, and cost efficiency
Maintaining accurate records of vehicle usage, inspections, and compliance documentation
Coordinating with drivers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
Implementing strategies to improve fleet efficiency and reduce operational risks
Supervising staff involved in fleet activities and providing guidance where required
Reporting on fleet status, performance, and compliance to senior management
Qualifications and skills
Minimum of one year of relevant experience in fleet operations, transport management, or logistics coordination
Robust knowledge of vehicle maintenance schedules, compliance requirements, and transport regulations
Proven ability to manage scheduling, dispatch, and operational efficiency across a fleet
Competence in record‑keeping, reporting, and use of fleet management systems/software
Excellent organisational and leadership skills with the ability to supervise staff
Solid communication and stakeholder management skills
